This gorgeous MAHOGANY bay gelding, is a
Friesian/Thoroughbred cross.
sire Baron, (Friesian) and his mother is a wonderful old TB mare
"Words From Above." (she is a Bold Ruler grandaughter! fantastic
pedigree,
ideal for eventing! Words is a big 16.2 hand TB mare, 1200 lbs, she
looks like a warmblood, wide chest and great bone. She was born to jump!
Her son,Valor,
also has ideal sporthorse conformation and lots of good clean flat bone.
Easy
to see in his photos and video. He has ideal angulation to his rear legs
for
jumping.
Valor's sire and dam, Baron and (Words from Above) are two of the
gentlest horses on planet Earth. Valor also is gentle and kind but he is
a lot of horse. He is built up hill and he moves that way. He is a
moving machine! Look at the hindquarters on this gelding! He is a
powerhouse! tremendous impulsion on this horse, deep deep hocks well up
under the middle of him when he moves. Short strong back, supple and
elastic in his movements, perfect walk with big overstride, super
suspension and extreme extension at the trot. He has a true three beat
canter, nice and round, very balanced. Valor is always forward, very
athletic, large for his age, (will be a very big horse, estimated
mature height 17.2 maybe 17.3) he is powerful, born for eventing!
This horse could someday go to the Olympics with the right rider!
Upper level dressage will be a breeze for Valor; He has stamina,
and heart, is very brave, ideal for cross country courses. Like his dam,
he loves
to jump and eager to jump the moon! He will "fly" through the show ring
jumping; (*note; as a foal playing with the other foals in our pastures,
he would look for something to jump, a log or whatever, and jump it a
dozen times just for the joy of jumping! Valor never seemed to tire!
Baron von Valor is a fantastic
horse for the rider that wants to compete at the top! Big, bold and
brave,
Valor will go on forever, he will never let you down in competition.
He is obedient, comes when called, stands quietly for the farrier, vet,
etc.
He likes people and wants to please; He has absolutely no bad habits,
he is sound, and he is beautiful! He is not a beginner's horse but if
you know
how to ride and you really do want to compete for the medals, this horse
will take
you there! We have not ridden him yet (he won't be two until May) but we
have
had a saddle and bridle on him a dozen times and he doesn't mind in the
least.
His price is $6,000 or a reasonable offer.
