Flying W Farms Special Moments "Cherie" is awarded the Special Award this year because she enabled her owner, Megan, to win the Equitation division in spite of a painful disability. Megan has been in and out of hospitals, in physical therapy and has been wearing a brace on a knee that has caused her much pain for most of the year. It takes a very special horse to be able to carry an injured rider like this smoothly enough to let her perfect her equitation despite her disability and pain. |
